Is my henri item frostproof?
Yes all Henri products are frostproof and designed to withstand the harshest winter.
The concrete mix in Henri products contains additives which enhance its elastic qualities, some components are re-inforced with steel. Sometimes small, innocuous surface shrinkage cracks will inevitably appear but your fountain will not crack through as long as you do not let water sit in bowls or anywhere where it can freeze. Freeze and thaw of water in bowls will damage the bowl as outlined in the Winter Care Instructions FAQ, this is an inevitable result of the mechanical action of water expanding as it freezes to become ice.
